The tongue bow bar has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This provides the tongue with optimum space. Many horses react to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players who try to stick their tongue over the bit, as the arch effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The loose ring means that the bit is more mobile in the mouth. The water snaffle is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a more 'mobile' bit in the mouth. The ring runs very evenly in the copper sockets and considerably increases the life of the bit due to its improved durability.
